Black Superman Coming to Arrow verse Elseworlds Crossover
Superman dons a black version of his iconic red and blue suit in the famous “Death and Return of Superman” storyline from the comics in 1992-93. The 2018 Arrowverse crossover event is putting Clark Kent in the same getup, though perhaps for much different reasons. Arrow star Stephen Amell blasted the photo of Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman on all his social media accounts Monday afternoon, only hours before the premiere of Arrow Season 7.
There’s a lot to look forward to when it comes to the upcoming DC TV Arrowverse crossover, known as “Elseworlds” kicks off in December. One of the key appeals here is not only the joy of Superman in black but also the introduction of Batwoman which gonna portrayed by Ruby Rose.
And Also Lois Lane( Elizabeth Tulloch) is gonna be play her role too in the crossover. But it looks like that for at least some of Hoechlin’s screen time as Superman, he won’t be wearing the traditional red and blue costume. Instead, he’ll be in the kind of black and silver number usually associated with the one he worse after he returned from the dead after getting his caped ass handed to him by Doomsday.
Elseworlds was a DC Comics imprint where stories took place outside of the mainline continuity… weird, dark worlds where some really wack stuff happened. Grant Gustin (who plays The Flash) and Amell’s matching all-black outfits, alongside a black-clad Superman, strongly suggest all three heroes are in an alternate universe. So on that we can assume why Superman didn’t appear in Supergirl all this time since Season two or One as Kara cousin.
The Arrowverse will crossover Title “Elseworlds” will kicks off with a special episode of The Flash on December 9, followed by Arrow on December 10, and Supergirl on December 11. We can’t wait. Let us know your guesses on the comment below.
